Post on your own social channels that you are joining MathEpi, the Cooperative Master's degree in Mathematical Epidemiology offered by AIMS RIC at KEMRI, in partnership with the University of Toronto and under the Africa Health Collaborative. Add the AIMS frame to your photo first, then write a few honest lines about what this moment means to you.
On the frame page, choose Research and Innovation Centre, upload your photo, adjust the fit, then download the framed image to use in your post.

Read it carefully and in good time. It holds the information you will need to prepare and plan your journey, and it answers most of the questions you are likely to have before you leave.

Document your trip, share it when you land
For many of you this trip will hold a few firsts. Film short clips on your phone along the way, your packing, a goodbye, boarding your flight, your first view of Kenya, and then publish them once you have arrived safely at KEMRI.

A word on storytelling
At AIMS, learning to tell your story clearly and with confidence sits right alongside the science, because the Academic and Research Department and the Communications Department treat the two as part of the same education.
Throughout the programme the Academic and Research Department guides the mathematics and the epidemiology, while the Communications Department helps you find the words, shape the narrative and share the milestones of your journey, so that the depth of the work and the telling of it grow together.
